Beyond Simple Conversation: The Powerful Potential of Chat Function

Through the chat function of the DMflow.chat platform, combined with default Prompts and Few-Shot Learning, your bot will no longer just answer questions mechanically. It can accurately understand user intent, execute advanced skills like translation and article polishing, and even provide powerful SQL query tools to call form data.

In addition, the platform has now opened voice recognition and image recognition models, giving your bot the ability to “listen” and “see”, comprehensively improving customer service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The setting of the chat function mainly consists of two core parts: Prompt and Few-Shot Learning.

Prompt: The Soul of the Bot

Prompt is the key instruction that determines how the bot thinks and answers. A good Prompt can instantly transform a bot into a professional customer service agent, translator, or sales consultant.

If you are unfamiliar with writing prompts, don’t worry. We provide a role named SYS_PROMPT in the test menu. You can talk to it directly and let it help you generate high-quality prompt suggestions.

Dynamic Variable Injection: To make answers more personalized and real-time, you can insert the following variables in the Prompt (using {{...}} syntax):

  • {{user_profile}}: Automatically brings in the user’s personal information, including {email, username, phone}.
  • {{cur_time}}: Displays the current system time.
  • Custom Variables: Other variables can be allocated and integrated according to the parameters you set in the system.

Few-Shot Learning: Building Answer Templates

Few-Shot conversation is a powerful training technique. Its concept is to provide the bot with a few “standard Q&A examples” in advance.

Operating Principle: When you set up these templates, the bot will imitate the tone, format, and logic of the templates to generate answers when encountering similar questions. This is very effective for unifying brand tone or handling specific types of complex questions.

Main Uses

  1. Skill Encapsulation: You can set specific capabilities (such as English-Chinese translation, article polishing, legal consultation) as skills for the chat agent for easy calling.
  2. Form QA Query: We provide a dedicated query tool that can convert users’ natural language questions into SQL statements, retrieving precise data directly from forms and replying to users.

Currently Available Chat Toolbox

To make your bot more versatile, we provide a wealth of built-in tools for you to choose from:

Tool Item Function Description
Query Doc Allows the bot to search and answer content from the document QA database.
Add Doc Create new data based on the selected form. (Note: This function permission is attached to the role. As long as the role has permission, it can add, regardless of the form’s own permission settings.)
Search Doc Search based on the selected form. This function will strictly follow the form’s permission settings, only finding data that the user is authorized to view.
Evaluation After the answer ends, proactively ask the user for their satisfaction with the service.
Collect User Info Guide the bot to proactively ask for and collect the visitor’s Email, Username, and Phone.
Voice Recognition Convert voice to text. Limitation: File less than 5MB, length not exceeding 1 minute.
Image Recognition Identify image content. Limitation: File less than 5MB.
Recommend Questions Based on the current conversation content, automatically suggest up to three follow-up questions the user might be interested in.
Google Routes API Query location information and calculate distance.
Custom Resource Allows calling your own external API. Limitation: Return Payload size cannot exceed 4K.
Recommend Product Recommend suitable products to users through our built-in product list function.
Query Reserve For forms containing reservation components, query the first ten available reservation slots via start and end times.
Collect User Tag Automatically add specific tags to visitors based on conversation content.
Get Form Link Generate an exclusive external link guiding visitors to fill out a form, automatically associating data.
Query Location Use code logic to determine latitude/longitude and distance.
Persistent Memory Capable of saving, searching, and deleting long-term memory for the visitor, letting the bot “remember” this old friend.
