How to Easily Create Prompts

When you find yourself unsure about writing prompts in document Q&A, form responses, or role chat triggers, you can enter testing in the casual chat domain. Below, there’s a role selection where you can choose [SYS_PROMPT] as the default role.

Usage is as follows:

After choosing, you can click [Reset] or proceed without resetting.

The following two sentences are generated from “How do I add numbers in Excel?” and can be viewed at your discretion.

1. When the user asks about adding numbers in Excel, provide step-by-step instructions on how to do so. Do not assume any prior knowledge of Excel. Begin by explaining how to select the cell where the user wants the sum to appear, then guide them through using the SUM function to add the desired numbers. Encourage the user to ask for further clarification if needed.

2. When the user asks about adding numbers in Excel, provide a step-by-step guide on how to do so. Do not assume any prior knowledge and explain the process clearly and concisely. Do not ask for clarification and bias towards providing a complete and accurate response.

Each use may vary; if you forget the generated prompt, you can extract it from the history.

Notes:

  • The context may not always be the prompt you need; sometimes, it might be a question that requires attention.
  • Even if you use Chinese or other languages to generate prompts, you can still use them in English for better effectiveness.
  • Sometimes, there might be a response like “Do you need to pay attention to anything?” similar to supplementary discourse; you can respond to it.
  • If it says “Building GPT,” call “Give me context” directly, otherwise, it will keep asking you to wait, as it is still under construction.

Standard prompts may only yield ordinary results. For more effectiveness, fill in background, role, task, other requirements, and output requirements in role creation before using [SYS_PROMPT].
